Have Hollywood attitudes towards content in 12A films become more liberal or have audiences’ film desires changed?

The definition of a 12A film is a Film classified 12A and video works classified 12 contain material that is not generally suitable for children aged fewer than 12 years old. There should be no one younger than 12 should be able to see a 12A film in a cinema unless accompanied by an adult.

Overall I believe that the attitudes of 12A content has become more mature in Hollywood today however I believe it's for the better due to this attitude change. Before this change movie like Jurassic World, Hunger Games and Man of Steel all movie that are rated 12A would all be 15 back then by having this new attitude towards movies and how they should be rated younger audiences can now watch their favourite movie franchises at the cinema.

Audiences in today's society are now finding new ways to finding the content they are looking for. Audiences are more mature in comparison to audiences back then. As a result it's unlikely that children watch these types of films is unlikely for them to be needing a parent to watch these types of films and if they change this attitude children will just go on the internet and watch the film that way so overall we shouldn't be having attitudes towards 12A films, Back then people where trying to sneak into these types of films back then now every can watch these films for the enjoyment of just having fun without the need of having to be 15 years old.
